Services

No, Meet & Greets are free and are an essential step in the process. It’s important to us that your pet, your family, and our sitters are all on the same page when it comes to your pet’s care. We know that your pet is like family to you, so the Meet & Greet is your way of making sure we’re the right fit for you!

The pet sitting service includes water refreshment, feeding (if needed), and potty time. We will also tidy up any messes or clean the litter box if needed. Any remaining time will be used for walks, cuddling, or play time depending on the individual pet and their needs.

Through our software, Time To Pet, you will be notified when your sitter arrives & leaves. If your dog goes on a walk, you will also receive a GPS tracking of the dog walk. Finally, this message will also include picture(s) of your pet(s) and information about what took place during the visit.

Booking a dog walking service is a great way to get your dog the exercise they need while you’re away. A dog walk visit includes a walk and water refreshment. If you have a puppy who’s prone to making a mess in the house, we will also use this time to clean up and refresh their area.

Trust is essential when it comes to having someone care for your pet and home. The Meet & Greet is the perfect opportunity to familiarize your pet’s sitter with your home. Additionally, we ask for home details in your Client Profile so that we know how you’d like us to access your home. You may choose to give us a copy of a key or use something like a lockbox or access code. Keeping your pet and home safe is our top priority, so the more information we have, the better!

For current clients, we ask for a day’s notice. For new clients, we ask for a few day’s notice so that we have enough time to conduct a Meet & Greet beforehand. While we appreciate as much advance notice as you can give, we know that last minute things do come up. If services are booked on the same calendar day, the service will be charged as a visit and a half.

We accept cash, credit card, PayPal or Venmo. Electronic payments (PayPal, Venmo or credit card) must be submitted/charged before the first day of service. For cash and check, please leave payment on the counter or a nearby table on the first day of service.

Cancellations received before 24 hours of your scheduled service will receive a full refund. Cancellations received within 24 hours of your scheduled service will receive a 50% refund.

At Peppy’s Pet Shoppe, we look for the best of the best. You can count on us for the best treats and accessories for your dog or cat. Many of the treats & food items in our shoppe are made with simple, natural ingredients. And the toys and accessories are products that we’ve either used ourselves or our clients have used and loved!
